The Slovenian Hooray Studios and Schätzl print emotion give personalized children’s books a new dimension. With a ” Glow in the dark” book, readers have double the fun of reading, since in addition to the normal plot there is a hidden story that only becomes visible in the dark with a special UV lamp.


Hooray Studios in Ljubiljana, which employs more than 150 people in its headquarters and branches in Italy, Austria, France, Germany, England and the USA, is involved in personalized children’s books and sold nearly one million copies in 2019. The books are printed at Schätzl print emotion in Donauwörth. The company prints on a total of four HP Indigo presses. As part of a trial phase, Schätzl also tested the new ElectroInk Invisible Yellow, which makes glow-in-the-dark books possible in the first place.
