Print mailing campaigns are a good marketing opportunity for a company, a service or a product. A print product with its haptic qualities makes it easier to trigger an emotion and set impulses. Addressing a potential business partner correctly confirms the value placed on the other party. However, many companies, especially in the start-up phase, find themselves in the situation of not having a valid and verified database. The problem, the companies have a good product, but neither the company nor the product is known. So that one does not have to die as a “poor poet”, service providers offer themselves. These are advertising agencies, print stores and lettershops. To have all of this in one would not be bad! Flixlead founder, Thomas Jungbeck, set about implementing this idea and launched a business portal. In just a few weeks, a considerable number of users have already joined the portal.
Even without a user account, you can still browse the website www.flixlead.de. You will find the most common advertising materials, self-mailers, maxi-postcards or letters with envelopes. A web-to-print editor (Rissc printformer) is deliberately used instead of just offering PDF uploads. This enables the employee responsible for marketing to be able to directly execute the design in the browser and shorten the paths. Ones’ own images can be uploaded to the existing templates. As with other providers, the postal code areas (example 87…) can be selected. A new feature is the generation of an address list of a target group according to a freely selectable key date from the German commercial register (HR). Not only is the address used, but also the CEO, who can be directly addressed . Upon request, Thomas Jungbeck confirms that the selected data sets are subject to a check. This would prevent a mailing from being sent to all persons registered in HR. Since the addresses can only be used but not downloaded, the user does not have to worry about the DSGVO. This makes things easier. The mailing is then printed and sent via the lettershop from Atlas Service GmbH in Stuttgart. Flixlead offers the possibility to go down to a circulation of 500. Thus, even small groups of customers can be covered by a mailing.
Further criteria for the selection of addresses are planned for the future. Thomas Jungbeck calls here the possibility of limiting by industries of the companies or functions of the persons. In addition, the possibility of uploading one’s own address data with a duplicate check will be examined. The offer could also be a good way for print shops that have not yet been active in the mailing sector to expand their own portfolio.
