News: IOP- Onlineprint on its way through the Corona crisis

Under the current AHA conditions, the IOP members met in Paderborn on September 22-23 for the annual fall conference of the Initiative Online Print e.V. (IOP). IOP stands for the association of the leading online printers in Europe. The idea is to create an independent communication and networking platform for small and large onliners alike, and is unparalleled worldwide.

Bernd Zipper, re-elected chairman of the IOP: “Online print in particular has been hit hard by the pandemic. Overnight, many providers lost sales in mid-March – in some cases up to 80%. Only now is the situation slowly returning to normal – but the aftermath of the lockdown is still clearly noticeable. After many web meetings, the autumn conference of the IOP is the first occasion for a personal meeting, which – with distance and observance of the hygiene rules – was a complete success”.

The IOP family has four new members: Lucas Scherer / Managing Director of sourc-e GmbH, André Hausmann / Managing Director of Be.Beyond GmbH, Conrad Fischer / Managing Director of Bernecker MediaWare AG and Wilhelm Soll / Managing Director of WAS Consulting. This brings the total number of members to 41.
