Ulrich Stetter is seeing red, but in a very positive sense: Redprintgroup.com is the new brand from Druckhaus Mainfranken, launched with a clear commitment to be the most affordable online printer in Europe. Is now the right time to start such a project? “Yes, absolutely,” says Ulrich Stetter, CEO of Druckhaus Mainfranken.
Ulrich Stetter is a veteran of online printing and industrial print production. Now Druckhaus Mainfranken has launched a new, low-cost online print brand. Bernd Zipper wanted to learn more from Ulrich Stetter about the background, the strategy to conquer the market and the target groups to be reached.
The Lead-Print Printshop has a modern, straightforward appearance and brings the production and cost advantages of industrial online printing to the market. Ulrich Stetter emphasizes that low prices are already an important factor, but the best quality should also be offered. Bernd Zipper interjects at this point. Stetter’s reasoning is credible and conclusive and the path should be a European one.
Stetter does not want to agree with the statement “the market is closed” and sees a place for his offer in the market. Red as the company color is not an indication that previous partnerships will not be continued, as there is nothing in each other’s way and everything has been agreed with the customer.
Ulrich Stetter still believes in the “conventional” print shop. This has now been demonstrated in the crisis. Overtime, it’s not about printing, it’s about logistics. But he gives clear indications here of what the future of the printing industry could look like.
Stetter and Zipper, who have known each other for years, chat in a relaxed manner about the idea behind the brand and, of course, about the impact of Corona on online print in Europe. This episode of Zipper’s Insights is exciting and encouraging.
