The Verband Druck & Medientechnik Österreich (Austrian Printing & Media Technology Association) will launch the first hybrid Print & Media Congress in Graz on November 3, 2020. Bernd Zipper’s mantra “Restart Innovation” also represents the congress and its new format.

When the Online Print Symposium was held in Munich, it was not yet affected by the pandemic. Members from Austria have now had to deal with Covid-19 and have decided on a hybrid format. This of course is good news, as it means that the entire print industry within the DACH region has the second most important industry event and a platform for exchange.

“In view of the wave of new infections that is currently rolling in, we at the Verband Druck & Medientechnik were faced with the decision of if and how we could make the Print & Media Congress Corona-compliant,” says Gerald Watzal, President of the Association, emphasizing “We deliberately chose a hybrid event because we want to send out a signal that innovations are needed right now in order to actively shape the future.

Roger Rankel is an expert in customer acquisition. The bestselling author is launching the Print and Media Congress under the motto “Sales come from implementation”.
