Printing software specialist Cerm has introduced Steffen Haaga as its new “director of global business development.”
“One of the main reasons for our recent management buyout was that we wanted to expand globally,” says Geert Van Damme, CEO of Cerm. He praised Steffen Haaga as an experienced and professional sales team builder with expertise in MIS. Haaga himself outlines his new job as follows: He wants to bring “the hidden gem” of Cerm to a wider audience worldwide. Prior to his new role, Haaga worked for EFI for 16 years in various sales positions. He then served as commercial director for Taopix for nearly five years.
Cerm programs software for the label and packaging printing industry. The company’s management information systems serve as integrative interfaces and support automation processes. The company, headquartered in Oostkamp, Belgium, had completed a successful MBO in August 2020. Previously, Cerm had belonged to the Heidelberg Group since 2011.
