It should be clear to everyone that an online store for print products alone is no guarantee of a company’s success – after all, potential customers first have to hear about the offer. But social media and AI are turning classic marketing strategies on their head. Digital commerce is gaining in importance – for print companies, too. Bernd Zipper will provide information on the basics, trends and how print service providers can approach this topic at the all-day VIGC Masterclass “Digital Commerce 4 Print 2023” on June 1 in Mortsel, Belgium.
The Masterclass, which is organized by the Flemish Innovation Center for Graphic Communication – VIGC – and held in English, is aimed at both beginners and professionals and provides a compact “deep dive” into everything important about digital commerce for the print industry.
The full-day event is divided into three major thematic blocks:
- The basics of “Digital Commerce 4 Print,” including social and mobile commerce, sales markets and business models, mass customization vs. mass production, target groups, personas and business customers, and sales channels,
- The “Status Quo in Online Print in Europe”, including a look at markets and market developments – also against the background of the Corona impact -, as well as a look at the top players in the D/A/CH region and the strategies for successful contemporary online print.
- the “trends and developments”: Why Mass Customization is the next “big thing,” why mobile plays a bigger role in online print than many think, and why it’s not always about price.
After each topic block, there will be plenty of time to answer any questions and discuss in detail with Bernd Zipper what they have learned. Presentation materials will also be made available to participants afterwards.
The “Digital Commerce 4 Print 2023” masterclass will take place on June 1, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Kantoor Agfa in Mortsel, Belgium. Participation costs 372 euros.
Further information is available on the VIGC website for the event. Interested parties can also register directly there for the Masterclass.
Note: The Masterclass will be held in English.
