Since the date for the Online Print Symposium on 8th and 9th June 2021 in Munich was announced, a lot has taken place behind the scenes. First speakers and partners have confirmed their participation, but of course questions about the Corona Pandemic have also arisen. Therefore, the organizers will explain to all participants and interested parties how OPS 2021 is to be run.
As with every year, a face-to-face event with approximately 300 participants is planned in Munich and the aim is to enable the ever so important personal communication. Should this not be feasible due to official restrictions, a plan B has been prepared. In the event that the number of participants must be limited, the Online Print Symposium will be converted into a hybrid event. After which only the first 150 participants who have registered will be allowed to attend in Munich. All subsequent registrations would then be converted into online tickets. All presentations and partner offerings would be adequately presented online, so that participants at home would not miss a thing in front of their screens.
If this number of participants is also not compatible with the then valid regulations on site, further tickets for the online event would be reissued. It is not yet clear whether there will be any restrictions in June 2021 and if so, which ones. Of course, we will observe all guidelines to ensure a safe and successful event for the participants on site. We are confident that the participants will be able to be present, in person, in June 2021 but we will continue to closely monitor developments in the coming weeks and months and will adjust the concept accordingly if necessary.
Either way, it’s worth being quick! The earlier you decide to participate, the more likely it is that you will be able to attend on site. Here you can still get Early Bird tickets until the end of January: https://www.online-print-symposium.de/en/registration/
