Following Philip Rooke’s announcement in an exclusive interview with Bernd Zipper, the Spread Group has now revealed the name of the new CEO. Dr. Julian de Grahl (47) will be the new CEO of the Spread Group. He will succeed Philip Rooke (52) on April 1, 2021, who, as he announced in the interview, is taking on a new professional challenge after 10 years at the helm of the Spread Group.

Dr. Julian de Grahl has more than 18 years of experience in the Internet industry, of which he spent around 13 years in listed companies. As a Managing Director, he has been responsible for the business units targeting sports, culture and club/festival markets with specific software, online store and merchandising solutions since 2012. In this role, he put a strong focus on agile product development, internationalization and B2B sales.

“The Spread Group team has done a great job building an international, sustainable and profitable company. With its variety of digital products (Spreadshop, Spreadshirt Marketplaces, Spreadshirt Create-Your-Own, TeamShirts, SPOD), loyal partner community and its production and fulfillment facilities, Spread Group is very well positioned to expand further in social commerce and B2B. I have had excellent and promising discussions with the board and can’t wait to come on board and take over in April,” says Dr. Julian de Grahl.

We wish him every success and are pleased that Spread Group is setting international standards in the field of e-commerce platforms from Leipzig and Greensburg (USA).
