Since July 2020, “diedruckerei.de” has been operating in Germany under the name “onlineprinters.de”. Bernd Zipper sought to find out, for this episode of “Zippers Insights” Podcast, whether this was more than a mere marketing idea of two managers from outside the industry. He talked to two people who have successfully applied their expertise from other industries to “onlineprinters.de”. And they do it with planning, passion and a steady hand.
Roland Keppler (CEO) and Christian Würst (CCO) are the two people who pull the strings of the Europe-wide operating group. It is interesting to hear how the two strategists are managing their company during the pandemic and getting it prepared for the future. The statements on how business could develop in Europe, for both small and large print shops, are long-term.
“I am very positive about the future of online printing. This is a business model that will prevail in the long run. The market is so large that there will be a number of competitors who are capable of handling it.” Roland Keppler.
“Corona is not only a risk, but also an opportunity, it demands pragmatism and forces us to take action,” emphasizes Roland Keppler, and you will believe him as he explains calmly and clearly how he is continuing to shape the company that has grown from an established print shop in Franconia. Bernd Zipper wants to know more precisely what makes the metropolitan region what it is and how the European concept can be fired up from Neustadt and Fürth. His questions go all the way to the core of the issue for us. The result was a round table discussion about the future of the industry.
