The next find of the Real Innovation Seekers are the high-end labels with textured premium effect from the range “Textures by Domino”. The full colour label printer Domino N6 10i by Domino Digital Printing Solutions simulates palpable structures on printed paper labels!
The labels are produced with inkjet technology. The use of various low-cost standard Flexo materials will replace the need to invest in structures label paper, which is generally quite expensive. The haptic effects are created with the innovative processes of Domino N6 10i in combination with an extra thick application of white ink with superior coverage. The number of possible effects is virtually endless – with the range of applications spanning from the emulation of natural materials all the way to a high-gloss finish. High-end labels can now be produced in small print runs or on demand to add a luxury finish to products.
