The Initiative Online Print (IOP) has a new board: Roland Keppler, CEO of Onlineprinters GmbH and Ulrich Schätzl, Director Mass Customization of the Elanders Print+Packaging Group and head of the German section of Dscoop, together with Bernd Zipper, Managing Director of zipcon consulting GmbH and initiator of the IOP, will form the trio of board members of the interest group.

After a brief breather, prices in online print picked up again in the fourth quarter of 2022. According to the current ZOPI – the Zipcon Online Print Price Index – in the fourth quarter of 2022, new highs were reached in November of last year, followed by only a slight decline in December. Looking at the details, however, there have also been downward outliers, at least for flyers.

2022 was a mixed year for the online print industry: the war in Ukraine, the paper crisis, price increases for energy and consumables and the increasing shortage of skilled workers caused problems for many companies. Nevertheless, good profits were achieved in some areas. What will happen in 2023? The Initiative Online Print e.V. (IOP) is optimistic about the future.

After months of internal disputes over the chairmanship of the Neumüller Cewe Color Stiftung for next year, the Board of Trustees has appointed Yvonne Rostock to succeed Dr. Christian Friege. She is to take over the CEO function as well as overall responsibility for sales in the Cewe Group by April 2023 at the latest.
