On July 14, 2020, CHILI publish and Sitecore announced their collaboration. The goal is to create an optimal process for creating content to be distributed in various media. The core of the solution is the Sitecore Content Hub, which allows content from different data sources to be centralized. The CHILI Publisher converts original designs, based on the various assets, into so-called “Smart Templates”. These documents can be edited using the Sitecore Content Hub. The advantage is that decentralized marketing departments can work together, independent of access to all data sources, and content can then be adapted to the needs of different markets.
Until now, content has often been held in multiple systems and prepared for different media. Digital Asset Management (DAM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and others are used separately in companies. This results in complex processes and stands in the way of streamlining production.
The idea of “Smart Templates” is to be able to use content longer and more than once. The users work in a simplified user interface. No graphical experience is required to create content.
Kevin Goeminne, CEO at CHILI publish, says: “We partner and integrate with other systems. Smart Templates in CHILI publisher empower all Sitecore Content Hub users to create on-brand visuals without burning designer hours. The extensive channel integration assures them that the generated output is on-brand, flawlessly designed, and output-ready, for whatever communication channel.”.
